Events
Price Harris PTO plans many events for our families. These Events are designed to make you and your student feel connected to the Price-Harris Community. We are like a big family, so please join in on all the events!
Boo Hoo Breakfast
Boo-Hoo Breakfast is a chance for kindergarten parents to get over dropping off their children for the first day of school.
Parents of P-H kindergartners are welcome to join us after dropping off their children. Parents can commiserate with others and enjoy refreshments. It's our way of helping you cope with your little one's first day!
All Star Adventures Night
Price-Harris Night at All-Star Adventures is Friday, Sept. 20!
Price-Harris Night at All-Star Adventures, 1010 N. Webb Road, is from 6-9 p.m.
Wristbands good for all rides and miniature golf will be sold at a discounted rate of $15 at the door. We hope to see you there!
Spirit Nights
KEEP WATCH FOR MORE NIGHTS to BE ADDED
PTO has scheduled many 2019-2020 Price-Harris Nights with restaurants in or near the Price-Harris boundary.
When you tell the cashier you're from Price-Harris, a portion of your purchase returns to PTO! Here are the restaurants and dates:
Aug 27 -Freddy's Frozen Custard
Sept. 21 -- Chipotle
Oct. 17--Scary Skate Night, Carousel Skate Rink 6:00-8:30 pm
Dec. 7 -- Thunder Hockey Game

Teacher & Staff Appreciation
The goal of the Teacher/Staff Appreciation Committee is to let the staff know how much the parents at Price-Harris value what they do for our children and to thank them for going the extra mile.
Events this year are dinner during each of the conference weeks.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week starts the week of April 31-May 4
The Monthly Staff Appreciation days occur once per month throughout the year. Every month is hosted by a different grade, but anyone is welcome to help!

Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures are always a fun PTO Sponsored Activity. We will select a photography studio to take some pretty cute pictures of the Price-Harris kids!
Skating Parties
Price-Harris' skating party will be held at Carousel Skate Center, 312 N. West Street, on October 17.
Admission includes skating, skate rental, and access to the amazing indoor play structure. A portion of every sale is donated to Price-Harris PTO.
Read-a-Thon
Read-a-thon is an annual fundraiser that challenges every student to read more.
All money raised goes to the library for books and technology.
Read-a-thon will run from January 21st to February 19th will money dues on March 2nd, Read Across America Day.
Field Day
Price-Harris Field Day, on May 18, gives students a chance to stretch their athletic muscles through a series of games and activities.
Lower grades participate in the morning, upper grades in the afternoon.
Parents are invited to come to school to watch their children and encouraged to volunteer. It takes many volunteers to make Field Day a success!

Barnes and Noble Book Fair
THE 2019-2020 Barnes & Noble BOOK FAIR IS DECEMBER 15
Be sure to attend Price-Harris’ Book Fair at Barnes & Noble on December 15, to get some holiday shopping done while raising money for our school.
During store hours, mention Price-Harris at checkout or use a flier that comes home with students, and a percentage of the sale will be donated to Price-Harris PTO.
The more money spent on behalf of Price-Harris, the higher percentage of total sales that comes back to school.
Students are asked to wear a Price-Harris shirt to Barnes & Noble to show school spirit.
Book Fair is about much more than fund-raising.
Fall Fundraiser
In August, packets from our fundraiser will come home with your children. Over the course of the catalog fundraiser, we ask students to ask family and friends if they're interested in supporting Price-Harris through purchasing items from our Charleston Wrap catalogs. The order forms will be due back Sept 9.
A Direct Donation Fundraiser will follow.
With school district budget cuts tightening the school’s purse strings, PTO is more important that ever. We want to continue to be able to give every Price-Harris student the chance to excel through our support. We hope you’ll continue a strong tradition of supporting the school by participating in the Fall Fundraiser.
